This service is available for all of the rental car models in our rental car fleet that are currently on the website, as well as in all of the destinations where our Goldcar offices are located.

If you choose to add a second driver, you'll have the option to take turns driving, making your journey much more relaxing. 

Choose this option in the simplest way possible. All you've got to do is choose "add" the additional driver service during the booking process. It's that simple! Now you can share your car! 

Why choose to rent a car with an additional driver? 

If you're going on a long journey, it is recommended to split the miles between various people. The best idea is to swap every two hours.

The main driver may suffer something unexpected along the way and it's best to be sure that the contract allows another person to take over the driving.

The person with the credit card who has carried out the payment may not be used to driving or may not want to, therefore it's better that the person accompanying them takes over.

If someone else drives who is named in the official contract, you risk not being covered by any insurance in the event of an accident on the road.
